Exact same problems exist in different form Same kinda culture but a slightly different norm Don't hold history against 'em No one needs to be fenced in It's constant Everyone in a varied state of progression We're all created equal Each got our own prequel It's only fair that we should all get that sequel Throwin' people in the fire When we all should aspire To inspire to acquire The virtues that would change our attire It's the same type of brand Just a different label Stop livin' in a dreamland Or some kinda fable When we gon' realize it's the man in the mirror?
