About Rojelio
Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Around the time I was aged six to seven, my mother's ex boyfriend would always play Tupac and Cypress Hill in the car 24/7. I remembered this up to my teenage years; which I rediscovered the music of my childhood car rides!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? My Chemical Romance, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge Nas, King's Disease II Wu-Tang Clan, Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) [Expanded Edition] Nas and Wutang were the two most prominent artists I fell in love with during my teenage years as I was rediscovering my love for hip hop. Lyrical assassination over boom bap beats! My Chem is just a post hardcore classic
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “We Are One” At the time I was writing this song and album, Liberty or Muerte, I had explored my heritage and saw how similar it was to issues Americans were facing. This song serves as a "putting aside our differences" and coming together for one cause
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The making of Trauma Ruined My Life. I went through the worst mental breakdown period in my life following the breakup of me and my former fiance in 2022. This breakup would revitalize my musical career and help me transition into alternative!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'm hoping that one day that Bert from the Used will hear my Trauma Ruined My LIfe album, and will want to do a collab one day....Maybe some day...or atleast Ronnie Radke!
