Artist Biography
A record producer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter, Chris Price is the son of Grammy Award-winning producer and songwriter Rudy Pérez. His first band, Price, was a family affair that yielded a handful of singles and an unreleased LP before quitting in 2009. That same year saw Price begin working on a power pop project with Rooney's Taylor Locke. Operating as Taylor Locke & the Roughs, the group released the albums Grain & Grape and Marathon in 2010, followed by Live at Rosalita's in 2012. The following year saw Price co-produce Linda Perhacs' The Soul of All Natural Things. He also began working with power pop icon Emitt Rhodes on Rainbow Ends, released in 2016. Stop Talking, Price's sophomore solo outing, arrived the following year. ~ James Christopher Monger
