Composer Ravi Basrur’s continued involvement with action franchise KGF has led to his creating an equally seismic soundtrack for the second instalment, KGF Chapter 2. Mirroring the sweeping nature of the Telugu flick, there are power-packed songs like “Toofan” and “Sulthana” which aptly serve as spirited themes for the main character, Rocky. But Basrur also delivers tender romantic tunes like “Mehabooba”—with singer Ananya Bhat leading a Hindi hook over Arabic-inspired arrangements—and “Yadagara Yadagara”.
